Flit around with us as we learn fascinating facts about the
butterfly’s body, life cycle and feeding habits through
engaging games and activities!
Did you know that the roly poly is not an insect? Join us as
we observe live pill bug specimens and learn about this
unusual creature.
Grossology (ages 4 & up)
We will investigate what makes our body gross, yucky but
oh so cool! Take a look inside and outside our bodily
functions and even carry home your very own boogers!
Catapult Creations (ages 7 & up)
Launch into summer as a catapult engineer! Plan, build,
and test your catapult design in fun games and challenges.
The Ma d Scientist (ages 7 & up)
Students will be WOWed with many “mind blowing”
science demonstrations as we explore the fundamental
basics of physical science.
We will connect the stars on the planetarium dome to
make constellations and share stories about them. Also,
learn the difference between stars and “shooting” stars.
Drive through space in a “space truck”, enter a virtual
space station and “ride” a virtual roller coaster!
Digista r L aser Fantasy (ages 5 & up)
Enjoy soothing music and a parade of shapes that dance in
this laser-like program. Also, view a display or patriotic
fireworks!
Dark Shadows (ages 7 & up)
Get ready for the Great American Total Solar Eclipse on
August 21st, 2017 by learning how “dark shadows” are
related to the phases of the Moon and to solar and lunar
eclipses.
Engineering the ISS (ages 7 & up)
Visit the International Space Station (ISS), a unique
scientific laboratory in space, and learn how 15 nations
collaborated to build and operate it.
Rev Up Recycling (ages 7 & up)
It’s easy being green when you are a trash detective.
Discover how important it is to REDUCE, REUSE &
RECYCLE with games and more!

1 Program = $4 per student
2 Programs = $7 per student
3 Programs = $10 per student
Programs are ON E HOUR in length each. Group leaders are encouraged to sign up for a block of two or three programs per visit.
ON E adult per 8 students is admitted free for planetarium programs. Other adults must pay $4 for planetarium programs.
